We are now looking for a senior Software Engineer, working fullstack with our technical platform. You will have the rare opportunity to work with technology you are passionate about while creating a product that really matters.

About the role

You will be a part of the Engineering department together with around 15 skilled software engineers and tech leads. You will work in cross-functional constellations with specialists from different disciplines.

Dreams’ Engineers are expected to take part in the creative process of our product development both regarding the technology and product features, contributing actively with ideas and execution.

We believe that you

• Have an understanding of the key technologies (or similar) we use: Ruby on rails, React/Next JS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Rabbit MQ, AWS cloud infrastructure. A plus if you have experience of mobile native technologies (Swift/Kotlin), especially hybrid native/web patterns.

• Know your ways around REST APIs, event-driven systems, complex 3rd party integrations (we integrate both platform/internal tools and core banking systems
  ).

• Are comfortable in working with -and improving- the process and tooling around a modern continuous delivery development process.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Thrive in a team environment, are an empathetic communicator that can be opinionated while knows to consider technology trade-offs in respectful discussions.

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer or similar.

We believe you have a solid background in software engineering and a great interest in creating an awesome user experience using data-driven insights. You have the ability to plan, execute and finalize projects both independently and in collaboration with your team.

• Work closely with fun and passionate colleagues with different backgrounds to create a world class user experience.

• Be responsible for both developing and maintaining the solutions, contributing with high-quality code making the product shine and customers happy.

• Design robust, secure and scalable solutions.

• Support, guide, and mentor junior colleagues. Act as a reviewer for others, actively spread technical know-how throughout the team.
