About the role
At Dreams, we work as a multi-disciplinary insights team that explores real problems for our customers. This is where you come in!
As a Product Analyst with a passion for great experiences, you’ll be the bridge between customers and our product teams throughout the product life cycle. You’ll play a central role in the product organization, partnering closely with product managers, tech, leadership, marketing and growth teams.
What you’ll do
Support finance team with data reporting and business analytics
Find actuals, pull reports to create clarity on how the business is going
Set teams up to be able to track and understand their product
Enable teams to work in a data-informed manner, including planning and discussing backlogs with a data point of view
Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics and success criteria that matter to our business and product, including visualization and follow-up
Conduct deep dives and research on existing data
Work as part of the Insights team to define, explore and clarify opportunities to improve business and product outcomes
Ensure that quantitative insights support decision making and drive business value at Dreams by being available and timely
Develop how Dreams works with data and analytics
Work with engineers to translate business and product needs into analytics and data architecture deliverables, supporting with outcomes and priorities
Continually improve what analytics we do and how we do it
Who you are
Product team experience - you have worked together with Product Managers to prioritise business and information needs.
Data storytelling experience - you have identified impactful opportunities for product through data, crafted compelling stories, and driven change among your team and stakeholders.
OKR experience - you have been an integral partner in determining measures of success and building up metric architecture.
Business analytics experience - you have measured the impact of products and features through understanding how they affect customers and the business.
Product analytics experience - you have contributed to the team’s understanding of how customers use the product, what patterns they follow, and how the team can make it easier or better.
Resourceful and flexible - you have translated real-life challenges into workable, supportable solutions given the constraints of working in a small start-up.
Proficient with SQL, Python and in querying, extracting and managing data/databases
Proficient with BI tools and data visualisation (e.g., MixPanel, Redash, Looker, Tableau, Qlik, DataStudio, Metabase etc.)
What you’ll bring to the team
Several years experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative domains. Experience in consumer-facing businesses is a plus.
Experience in A/B testing and experimentation, including design, implementation, and methodologies (e.g. hypothesis testing and regression analysis) for analyzing and interpreting results to stakeholders.
Comfortable managing concurrent projects and meeting goals, even in the context of competing deadlines or priorities.
Experience collaborating with and delivering insights to senior leadership and/or management teams.
